Here go my pre-season predictions for the MLB season that starts in earnest today. Before I get to that though, let me just go ahead and admit the Mets suck. They’ll get to around 70-75 wins, but it’ll be ugly. OK, here we go…
AL East - Rays
AL Central - Tigers
AL West - Angels
Wild Cards - Blue Jays defeat Rangers
NL East - Phillies
NL Central - Reds
NL West - Giants
Wild Cards - Atlanta def Dodgers
AL MVP - Miguel Cabrerra
AL Cy Young - David Price
NL MVP - Joey Votto
NL Cy Young - Cliff Lee
That’s all I feel like predicting right now. My future-vision is tired.
YOU GUYS. PRINT OUT YOUR EVIL BEARDS. WE’RE IN THE DARKEST TIMELINE. :’(

Sweet video by JEFF the Brotherhood, produced/directed by Jack White. The stand-alone single also produced by White is called “Whatever I Want” and is out later this year.

The remix of Florence + The Machine’s new single “Shake It Out” has been floating around a few days, but I haven’t had a chance to post about it. I really like it. Yep, that’s my review. Take it or leave it.
This might be the last thing I like from The Weeknd though. I’m feeling it’s all a bit or the same. It’s only Florence’s (or whatever her real name is; I don’t feel like checking facts) voice that makes this track stand out from other Weeknd stuff.
Anyway, listen.

Wow. That’s really all I can muster to describe Aloe Blacc’s rendition (don’t call it a cover) of “Billy Jean” performed live with a string section.
Blacc is most known for his 2010 album Good Things that features the hit single “I Need A Dollar,” which is the intro for the HBO show How To Make It In America.

Once again, I’ll remind you that I’m not really interested in your views on Tyler, the Creator and/or Odd Future. As it is with any music - whether it’s NWA or Marylin Manson or whatever, if you’re offended by the music, then don’t listen.
On that note, here’s the video for Pusha T’s “Trouble On My Mind” featuring Tyler, the Creator.

Foster The People is one of the bands I’m really looking forward to at ACL this year. Check out this post-apocalyptic themed video for their single “Helena Beat,” which just so happens to be one of the best tracks on the album.

You like Wu-Tang Clan right? Yep.
Fugazi? I don’t really know if I like Fugazi or not. Sounds dirty.
Whatever, this song is from Wugazi 13 Chambers and is a sick mashup, as good as DJ Danger Mouse’s Grey Album or this Black Keys and Big Boi mashup.
Hit the source link to hear the whole 13 Chambers album and some additional mashup singles (now that sounds dirty).

Song of the day: Lana Del Rey “Video Games”
I’ve been playing this on repeat all day. Lana is going to be famous soon. Or not. I don’t know, but I like this song (and the others here) and she’s pretty hot (even though the lips can be scary at times).

Good video about one of my favorite rappers out right now, Kendrick Lamar.
Check out the songs “Michael Jordan” and “Monster Freestyle.”
